break through, when the new smartphone LG Optimus 2X appeared on the market and
at once pressed the competitors aside.

In
cooperation with NVIDIA, the LG Company has produced this new plaything for
people who like technological inventions and the speed. The new dual-core
processor is able to give a start to many other rivals among the devices of
this kind.
Some
critics in their the LG Optimus 2X review say that the LG Optimus 2X too much
resembles several other smartphones, especially those, which were manufactured
earlier. In some way they are right, for the general appearance of the
smartphone shows specific features, which seem to be common for many
smartphones of this class. And this is all – in other aspects the LG Optimus 2X
is unique.
The General Features and Possibilities
The
appearance of the device is beyond critics. It is laconic and stylish. The
front panel, which is almost fully occupied with the screen, is black with the
sensor keys, illuminated with white light. The sides are dark grey, imitating
metal. The back panel, namely, the detachable lid, is covered with the
soft-touch material, which is scratch-proof and pleasant to hands. It is brown
with a wide metal band in the middle. This accessory adds indeed a stylish note
to the whole look of the LG Optimus 2X. This band bears the carving “with
Google”, which at once lets us know that this is an Android-based device.
In the
upper part of the back panel, this metal band meets a smooth rising, which
contains the eye of the camera. The 8 megapixel camera seems to be nothing
special for a device of such a high class, though the distinctive feature of
this camera is its ability to film in the Full HD quality. This has not yet
been achieved by any other smartphone.
The
mentioned in this the LG Optimus 2X review dual-core processor provides the
unseen speed of operating. The browser works much faster than in other or
previous models – that’s due to the special graphic accelerator by NVIDIA.
The device
operates with a considerable amount of the inbuilt memory: 512Mb for namely
operations, and the additional 8Gb on the memory storage. It is possible to raise
the memory up to 32Gb, and the speed of the operation does not fail.
The
enormous 4-inch screen has won the total appreciation of the critics and
testers. The wideness, brightness of colous and the system of multy-touch make
usage of the LG Optimus 2X even more pleasant. The special mineral glass of the
screen is scratch-proof, and the fingerprints are practically invisible on it,
which makes the device look good even after the thorough usage. The
illumination of the screen allows using the device under the bright daylight,
and the screen stays bright and visible in details. Due to the inbuilt
gyroscope every turn and tilt of the smartphone activates different functions.
The device is also sensitive to the gestures.
